Cinderella
A tale about a young woman living in unfortunate circumstances that suddenly change to remarkable fortune.
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far, far away, there was a simple and beautiful girl named Cinderella. She lived with her evil stepmother and two stepsisters. The stepmother did not like her and made her do all the household work. Her stepsisters just never had to work, they just roamed around the house in their fancy dresses. They always made fun of Cinderella because of her plain dressing.
A Royal Invitation
One day, a letter from the king came to their house which said that the king is having a ball tonight and his son ‘The Prince’ would be choosing a wife; every girl in the kingdom must be aware.
Everyone got excited about reading this, Cinderella too wanted to go to the ball. Her stepmother told her that she can go if she completes all her work on time and also helps her stepsisters with their dresses for the ball.
Cinderella worked as fast as she could to get everything done but there was always something left. At last, she was left at home disappointed.
Cinderella’s Wish
Cinderella worked hard and found an old dress that belonged to her mother. She tried to make it beautiful, but her stepsisters tore it apart. Feeling sad, she ran to the garden. Suddenly, her Fairy Godmother appeared! With a wave of her magic wand, she turned Cinderella’s rags into a gorgeous gown and her pumpkin into a splendid carriage.
The Magical Ball
At the ball, Cinderella’s beauty and grace caught everyone’s attention, especially the prince’s. They danced all night, and Cinderella felt like she was in a dream. But, as midnight approached, she remembered her Fairy Godmother’s warning that the magic would wear off. She hurried away, leaving behind one glass slipper on the palace steps.
A Happy Ending
The prince, determined to find the mysterious girl, searched the kingdom with the glass slipper. When he arrived at Cinderella’s house, the slipper fit her perfectly! The prince knew he had found his true love. Cinderella forgave her stepmother and stepsisters, and she and the prince lived happily ever after.
